Davide Trolton (b. 2001) is a conductor, winner of the\u202f2nd Erich Bergel International Conducting Competition\u202f(2024) and the\u202fItalian \u201cPremio delle Arti\u201d (2023), awarded unanimously.<\/p>\n
He has appeared with professional orchestras in Italy and abroad, including Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, FORM \u2013 Filarmonica Marchigiana, ORT \u2013 Orchestra della Toscana, ISA \u2013 Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese, Filarmonica de Stat T\u00e2rgu Mure\u0219 (Romania), OPV \u2013 Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, I Solisti Aquilani, Orchestra Fondazione Luciano Pavarotti, and Orchestra Senzaspine. He has worked with soloists including Anna Tifu, Silvia Dalla Benetta, Antonio Camponogara, Kim Min Chul, and Pietro Beltrani, as well as with actresses such as Angela Finocchiaro and Sonia Bergamasco. <\/p>\n
Upcoming engagements include performances with FORM \u2013 Filarmonica Marchigiana, Filarmonica de Stat T\u00e2rgu Mure\u0219 (Romania), Budapest Symphony Orchestra M\u00c1V (Hungary), Roma Tre Orchestra, and I Solisti Aquilani.<\/p>\n
In 2025, he was assistant conductor to Vasily Petrenko for Shostakovich\u2019s Symphony No. 7 (\u201cLeningrad\u201d) with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. He further refined his artistic development at the\u202fAccademia Chigiana with Daniele Gatti, Michel Tabachnik, and Luciano Acocella, concluding the programme with a Diploma of Merit. He has also attended masterclasses with, among others, Alpesh Chauhan, Nicolas Pasquet, Donato Renzetti, Mark Heron, and Douglas Bostock. <\/p>\n
He has been selected for a Master of Music at the Royal Northern College of Music (UK), where he is regularly involved in projects with the BBC Philharmonic, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, The Hall\u00e9, and Manchester Camerata. He previously completed his\u202fMaster of Music in Orchestral Conducting\u202fwith full marks (110\/110 cum laude with special distinction) at the\u202fG. B. Martini Conservatory in Bologna, studying with Luciano Acocella. <\/p>\n
His commitment to music and conducting emerged at an early age. At thirteen, he began his musical path under the guidance of Spanish conductor and composer Ferrer Ferran. In 2019, at the age of eighteen, he was admitted to the Italian Conducting Academy directed by Gilberto Serembe. Alongside this formative work, he pursued studies in piano and composition, graduating in Percussion with top marks (110\/110 cum laude) from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Turin. <\/p>\n
Since 2025, he has been a supported artist with the Associazione De Sono (IT) and the Ann Gerrard Bursaries (UK).<\/p>\n
